Play as Beatrice Delmar, a woman who returns to her mother’s sunken hometown under the guise of treasure hunting. The town, once called Wellington, UK, was wiped off the maps 60 years ago after decades of relentless flooding and storm surges. Now submerged beneath the ocean, the town remains untouched, until now. 

Born and raised in Atlanta, Beatrice knows her family history only through stories, most half-form and faded. Her mother Amara, who left Wellington at age 6, rarely speaks of the town and the women who raised her. What little she does share is surrounded by tension: Mira, Amara’s mother, was a loyal climate change denier who refused to evacuate as the tides claimed the town. That decision cost her her life, and Amara never forgave her. 

After reading a news article that a professional dive team is planning an exhibition to recover “valuable artifacts” from Wellington, UK, Beatrice decides to act first. She thinks her family may have left behind heirlooms she can sell as they fled the town quickly years ago.  There is one item she brings along in hopes of putting her ahead of the professional divers, a key. They key was passed down from her grandmother, who was Wellington's town librarian before the floods. 

But as she explores the drowned town she begins to uncover a personal truth, one of community and struggle. What started as a search for gold becomes a journey to discover a painful truth.
